FineTech Medical Ltd releases updated Digital Bladder Controller - CPC1
FineTech Medical Ltd is pleased to announce the availability of the updated Digital Bladder Controller.
The most significant change is the new front layout. The buttons are now considerably larger and require less pressure to use. This will make the controller easier to use for those customers who have limited dexterity and feeling in their hands. Secondly we have updated the existing battery with a new high capacity Li-ion cell which will increase the time between charges.
Frequently Asked Questions Q - Can my Digital Controller be updated? A - Yes. We can update all Digital Controllers to include the improvements. Contact your local agent for pricing. Q - Will I need to replace my charger now that the battery has been updated? A - No. The charger for the original Digital Controller will work fine. You will however find that, due to the increased capacity of the new battery, the charge time will be slightly longer. Q - Can I replace my Analogue Controller with a Digital Controller? A - Absolutely. The Digital Controller is fully compatible with the Bladder Implant, Transmitter Lead and Transmitter Block. You will need to purchase a new Battery Charger as the one for the Analogue Controller is different. It will also be necessary for you to arrange with your spinal centre to have the controller set for your particular requirements. Q -Does the updated controller function the same as the original Digitral Controller? A - Yes. The functionality of the controller is exactly the same.
