Healthy Aims - The Project
Healthy Aims was a European Union Framework Package 6 project (FP6) involving 26 partners, including 6 SMEs, from across 9 EU countries. €16M of the €26M project fund was secured from the IST Microsystem programme. Healthy Aims - Finetech Medical's Outcomes
The core outcomes for Finetech Medical were:
- conception, development, ethical approval and completion of initial clinical trials of the STIMuGRIP ® system. Read more about the STIMuGRIP ® development.
- development and support of SPIDER, a novel implantable electrode array, trialled in Poland, for pelvic neuromodulation to control bladder and bowel functions.
- furthered experience of managing all project partners ethical approval applications and clinical trials.
