| Overall objectives: |
- To develop 3 components using microsystem technology (MST) for integration into Finetech's foot drop system - a medical implantable device to help patients with a problem known as drop foot. The three components cover power feedback control, planar RF coils and inertial system for triggering (to replace the footswitch).

| Our objectives: |
- To manage the overall project and co-ordinate the integration of the 3 microsystems
- Provide manufacturing expertise for implants
|
| Our achievements: |
- Furthered our experience of managing multi-partner projects
- Gained innovative sub-systems for potential use within the dropped foot system (now known as STIMuSTEP ®) when revisions are made.
